The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) released guidance on evaluating providers' compliance with the federal Covid-19 vaccination mandate for health care workers. CMS requires all home care agencies to receive the 1st Covid vaccination dose by Jan 27th. Workers then must be fully vaccinated by Feb 26th. If any direct care worker has not received their first dose by Jan 27th their employment will be put on hold until they receive their first dose. There will be no exception to this new mandate.
